Following the judgement of 12 May 1998 - 312 0 85/98 - "Liability for Links" passed down by the Federal State Court (FSC) of Hamburg, the liability for the contents of any linked sites is deemed to lie with the linking site operators themselves. Such liability can only be revoked - according to the FSC - by the linking site operators expressly stating that they accept no liability for such sites and their contents
