Wind energy

ARSU has been involved in the wind energy sector since the early 1990s and has provided specialist services for over 250 planning and research projects. These include field surveys and, in particular, fauna population surveys, compiling environmental documentation for applications, support and consultation for approval processes and legal proceedings as well as monitoring surveys. In addition, we design and carry out research projects, organize and manage specialist conferences and the publication of themed collections of papers, specialist articles and books. Ecological supervision of construction projects Ecological supervision of construction projects is now well-established in the area of conflict mediation, particularly in the context of species protection and impact regulation. Our team of specially-trained and accredited experts has extensive experience in creating tailor-made avoidance and protection measures and in implementing them. These measures are designed to minimize the impact of building activities and contain it within the limits defined in the building permission. In close consultation with the site management and local building authorities, solution-based and viable advice is provided on site and throughout implementation. On questions relating specifically to on site flora and fauna, the team has access to our in-house team of experts who can advise on, for example, catching and relocating specific animal species.
