Landscape development

ARSU has over 30 years expererience in landscape development and, as a result, has accrued valuable local knowledge in many German federal states. ARSU was amongst the first planning groups to develop and implement compensation area pools to mitigate the impact of larger projects. The activities involved are, firstly, to develop a concept and an approach to the core problem based on tailor-made research projects and, secondly, to plan and implement concrete and viable measures and, finally, to identify and develop potential compesation measures in accordance with environmental impact regulations while ensuring the overall coherence of all the measures. We focus on three essential elements of landscape development: achieving the goals of nature conservation, mediating and establishing regional acceptance and securing a viable financial framework.
